Here goes, from my understanding, the night before the 6th, everyone in the house puts a plate out for Saint Nicholas, who helps Santa during the busy holiday season. Saint Nicholas then arrives sometime in the night to assess who is in the house and if they are worthy to receive the thumbs up or not. He then reports back to Santa Claus at the North Pole. If you did indeed receive said thumbs up, you are left a little treat on your plate. Lucky for us here at Davisland, every year we have received a little something from Saint Nicholas which ensures us that visit from Santa Clause on Christmas Eve....whew....we made it again this year. Don't Blake and Rachel look festive in their tee-shirts??? Me and Gary got matching red ones - thanks Saint Nicholas - you're the best !! Hope you visit us again next year !
